Disaster Relief

Many slum buildings are made of cardboard and construction is poor. So disasters hit hard. A fire or flood can cause tremendous devastation. Those who suffer most are the children, especially small ones.

Several times a year, GCL responds to a catastrophe in its communities with food, construction materials and other necessities. This aid (and our feeding programs) can be a bridge to survival, and it gives our communities the knowledge that they are not alone.
